Caleb Blocker, Tompkins: Blocker set career highs with 23 carries, 134 yards and two touchdowns to help the Falcons stay undefeated. The Falcons were nearly level in running and receiving, including Wyatt Young’s five catches for 121 yards and scoring.
Jase Forester, Taylor: Forester was in most games when Morton Ranch carried the ball, registering a record 18 tackles (eight solo) to nearly triple his production this season.
Glass of Dallas, Katy: Glass led a balanced attack with 101 yards and two touchdowns in 13 carries as the undefeated Tigers claimed the win in their first game of District 19-6A. It was Glass’s third 100-yard game of the season.
Carsen Luna, Ranch Morton: Luna’s active night featured at least one sack, loss tackles and the night’s run-stopping hit. The Mavericks performed well on defense overall, allowing for 206 yards and one touchdown in an opening district victory.
Nathan Rothwell, Cinco Ranch: Rothwell recorded a career-high 15 tackles (11 solo) and recovered a fumble to help keep the Cougars in the game against Tompkins. The senior has 44 tackles for the season.
