Nick Chubb plays smart football, but his decision has angered punters and fantasy players


Nick Chubb just made a lot of enemies.

With the Browns leading 10-7 in the dying moments of the game, Chubb rushed the ball 59 yards, then intentionally ran out of bounds at the 1 yard line to freeze the game.

This decision proved costly for bettors who chose the Browns. The line moved throughout the week, but Cleveland was consistently between 3 and 4.5 point favorites, so a touchdown would have easily covered the spread.

To make matters worse for the Cleveland fans, they were only in this situation because the Texans walked down the field to score late in the fourth quarter. The Browns led the entire game.

The Fantasy owners also struggle with Chubb, as they probably could have used the extra six points that come with a rushing touchdown.
