The NFL season continues to wind down, with the start of the 16th campaign week. With the regular season extended, teams have an extra week to keep their playoff hopes up, and for some it may be necessary.

The day after Christmas, several teams hope to give their fans one last gift. The Ravens face the Bengals as they hope to break a three-game slippage and regain a foothold in the pursuit of the AFC North crown. In another key Divisional showdown on the 1 p.m. ET slate, the Bills will travel to New England in hopes of avenging their narrow loss earlier in the season and returning to a tie for the lead.

Pittsburgh will also be hoping to keep up their playoff hopes when they face the Redhot Chiefs, who are looking to win their eighth straight game and further consolidate themselves in the AFC West. Kansas City can win the division with a win and a loss for the Chargers, although it could be asking a lot with Los Angeles facing the Texans earlier in the afternoon.

There are two prime-time games left in the week. First off, on Sunday there is a rivalry between Washington and the Cowboys. The Saints will then look to maintain their late playoff push when they face the Dolphins on Monday.
