Kansas RB Daniel Hishaw with College Football Game of the Year

Kansas running back Daniel Hishaw would like everyone to know that Kansas is officially a school of football.

It’s Kansas-Duke week, and all eyes are on the… football field? Yeah. That’s right baby!

Daniel Hishaw doesn’t want to hear your talk about basketball today.

Look at this piece:

Crazy play from Hishaw, but an even better call from Eric Collins.

“LOOK AT HISHAW GOOOOOOO” as the vocal cords officially reach their limit was the perfect way to call this piece. Look out, Gus Johnson!

What a run from Hishaw, who checks in at 5-foot-10 and 215 pounds. An absolute tank that travels 70 yards down the field while breaking three tackles. Good luck putting that cat down.

And the atmosphere in Kansas? Electric stuff for a basketball school.

The Jayhawks are 3-0 for the first time since 2009, and the people of Lawrence are CRAZY.

The Kansas offense is averaging 53 points per game, which ranks third in the nation heading into the weekend, and the team’s total of 159 points was tied for the most over the of this period in KU’s history.

Kansas announced earlier in the week that the game was sold out for the first time since 2019. So far, the Jayhawks have given fans their money’s worth.

Duke, by the way, don’t back down. The Blue Devils scored a field goal just before halftime to cut Kansas’ lead to 21-13.

Despite Hishaw’s heroism, Jayhawks QB Jalon Daniels has been the star of the show so far. The junior finished the first half 11-12, with 200 yards and three touchdowns.
