Isreal Akinlabi, Travis: Akinlabi grabbed one of the Tigers’ four interceptions on the goal line to seal a narrow victory. Travis also received picks from Dominic Njoku, Parker Reed and Tomisin Olorunfemi, contributing to a third consecutive victory.

Ja’Koby Banks, Marshall: In another balanced effort that saw seven Buffalos score, Banks rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown in two carries while completing four of five passes for 147 yards and touchdowns for Chris Marshall (two), Jaydon Johnson and Ke ‘von Misher.

Chase Canada, Foster: Canada had two interceptions, including a return for a touchdown, which made a big difference in a defensive battle. The Falcons allowed 187 yards and forced three turnovers, while JT Fayard completed 20 of 23 for 265 yards and Kendal Stewart had 11 catches for 160.

Javin Chatman, Willowridge: Another two-way star for the Eagles, Chatman added one interception to his 121 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries. Willowridge forced a bunch of turnovers, including two fumble recoveries by Jaden Mack.

Alonzo Hines, Taylor: Hines played his second 200-yard game of the season, scoring 21 times for a 200 and a touchdown. The Lions were exceptional on offense, accumulating 578 yards including 106 by Javon West. Chase Jenkins had 20 of 23 passes for 206 yards and two scores.

Caleb Johnson, Bush: Johnson helped lead a stellar defensive effort with six tackles, one for loss and a fumble for recovery. Devin Moore added eight tackles, two for a loss, as the Broncos limited Elkins to 103 yards and forced three turnovers to follow Ridge Point and Travis into District 20-6A.

Kaleb Johnson, Hightower: Johnson picked up a relentless District 10-5A DI victory, scoring the touchdown on a 45-yard pass from Kendron Penson. He led all receivers with 12 catches for 202 yards and two scores. Jeremy Strawder (six tackles, one interception) and defense kept the Hurricanes close as Angleton rallied.

Joseph Wilson, George Ranch: The Longhorns finished one game to the win, Wilson contributing a top six catches and 112 yards, including a 52-yard touchdown from Cole Murphy.
