When the long and grueling football season is over, footballers love to visit some of the best places in the world to relax and have fun.
It has become a norm for most footballers to travel to South America, the United States of America or Asia for their holidays.
There seems to be a shift in this trend though, with Africa gradually becoming a top destination for some of the game’s most covered players.

The two-time UEFA Champions League winner is on vacation in Namibia. The AS Roma coach in various photos on social media posed with fans and officials at a train station.
Jose Mourinho’s connection to Africa is well detailed as he gave opportunities to some of Africa’s best players including our very own Michael Essien and Felix Afena-Gyan.
The Portuguese coach has already traveled to Ivory Coast for a charity programme.
Kylian Mbappe
The Cameroonian and Algerian-French-born striker was in Algeria where his mother is believed to be from.
He also visited Morocco where he had fun in some of the big hotels and chilled out with Achraf Hakimi.
Mbappe recently signed a lucrative 3-year contract with PSG which makes him the highest paid footballer in the world.

Dembele was spotted during the CAF Champions League final between Al Ahly and Wydad Casablanca.
The Barcelona striker is said to have been in the country for fun and wine after a long season.

The German international is in South Africa for his holidays. The midfielder is vacationing at the Royal Malewane Lodge in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
Havertz had a decent season with Chelsea and performed well for Germany in the UEFA Nations League.

Kante would be in Morocco to inspect some projects and hold meetings with key people at the provincial council headquarters in Tiznit.
He was greeted by Ahmad Ouhmou, vice-president of the council, and the two men posed.
Kante had a season marred by injuries.
Memphis Depay
Depay is having fun in Ghana with his fans. The Dutch striker has so far visited President Akufo-Addo, Otumfuo Osei Tutu and a host of senior officials in the country.
He also visited the Cape Coast School for Deaf and Blind where he undertook charity projects.
