The season returns to its usual Saturday slots at 3 p.m. after the Christmas period and parties across the Duchy are hoping the rain and Covid won’t force too many matches to be postponed.
Penryn Athletic was scheduled to face Newquay AFC, but the game will be replayed at a later date at the request of the home side due to positive Covid PCR testing in the Athletic playing team.

Elsewhere, Falmouth Town will be eager to return to action after their Walter C Parson Cup match against Okehampton Argyle was postponed due to Covid in the Argyle squad. This means Falmouth hasn’t played since the 5-0 win over Penryn on Boxing Day. They face the Dobwalls, fifth at Bickland Park, as they seek the 19th consecutive league victory.
There is a third versus fourth clash at Underlane as Wendron United take on Liskeard Athletic. The Dron will be looking to bounce back from a heavy 0-6 loss to Bodmin Town in the Walter C Parson Cup, although Wendron has hit the post five times without scoring.
However, their league form is solid, with four rebound wins propelling them to the upper regions of the table. Three more points could take them to second place depending on the outcome of Camelford’s game against modest St Dennis.

Camelford AFC vs. St Dennis
Falmouth Town vs. AFC Dobwalls
Godolphin Atlantic (Newquay) vs. Bodmin Town
AFC sticker against St Austell

In the Toolstation Western League, Helston Athletic will play their first home game since a 1-0 win over Shepton Mallet on November 20. sixth place in what is a very crowded Western League Table.
Athletic face 15th-place Wellington, whom he beat 3-1 in early December thanks to a brace from Billy Tucker and a goal from Stu Bowker.
A win could take Helston to second place, but that depends heavily on results elsewhere, remarkably, the fight in the top half of the table continues to grow with just five points separating second and ninth in the division.

Clevedon Town vs. Mousehole
Helston Athletic vs. Wellington
